Our UK production centre boasts the latest in document scanning equipment and experience in producing for our customers the highest of quality images in the U.K.
We collect documents in their existing format such as archive storage boxes, ring binders, folders etc. and transport them via a dedicated vehicle to our secure UK production centre for processing.
All our scanning is carried out to BS 10008 (BIP0008) standards.
Document Scanning requirements can generally be divided into 3 areas.
:: Archiving
:: Live Scanning
:: Scanning for Data/ Document Conversion. |
:: Archive Scanning:
These are typically documents which must be retained despite having finished their active life-cycle.
These can range from a small filing cabinet to a full room or warehouse of paper. Scanning these documents is a cost effective and beneficial way to store these valuable documents. When the Inland Revenue provided guidelines and support for accounts scanning this became the way forward for companies to store their most important archives and obtain the cost savings over traditional document storage.
Document Scanning also provides significant advantages in document retrieval. Documents are available with a simple search unlike paper where locating a document is costly and time consuming.
:: Live Scanning:
These are documents which are still required and need to be searched or referred to on a more regular basis.
If you are considering scanning in-house on ongoing basis you may be interested in the cost savings and benefits of bureau scanning. A frequent collection or mailing system is set up and these documents are given priority with images and data processed the same day.
The benefits over in-house scanning can be significant. Our equipment and systems are designed for the highest quality. Images produced at our bureau are typically significantly higher quality and clearer than in-house scanners and software.
The added incentive is the cost savings in staff time, equipment and archiving.
:: Scanning for
Data/Document Conversion:
